Epic Management
Epics have a defined phase that indicates the current state of that epic. An epic can be moved from one phase to another if that stage is completed.
Reviewing
This is the phase where the epic is reviewed. Once an epic is created, by default it is moved to the ‘Reviewing’ lane.
Analyzing
This is the phase where the epic is analyzed.
- To move an epic to the ‘Analyzing’ phase, click on the epic.
- Change the phase from ‘Reviewing’ to ‘Analyzing’ in the drop down menu and save it.
- Navigate to the ‘Kanban View’
Backlog
This phase indicates that the epic is selected and work can begin on this.
- To move an epic to ‘Backlog’ phase, click on the epic
- Change the phase from ‘Analyzing’ to ‘Backlog’ in the drop down menu and save it.
- Navigate to the ‘Kanban View’.
Mvp
This phase indicates that the epic chosen is currently in progress.
- To move an epic to ‘MVP’ phase, click on the epic
- Change the phase from ‘Backlog’ to ‘MVP’ in the drop down menu and save it.
- Navigate to the ‘Kanban View’
Persevere
This phase indicates that an epic that is completed is prone to changes in the future.
- To move an epic to ‘Persevere’ phase, click on the epic
- Change the phase from ‘Mvp’ to ‘Persevere’ in the drop down menu and save it.
Done
This phase indicates that work on an epic is completed. This epic is not prone to change and can be selected for archiving.
- To move an epic to ‘Done’ phase, click on the epic
- Change the phase from ‘Mvp’ or ‘Persevere’ to ‘Done’ in the drop down menu and save it.
- Navigate to the ‘Kanban View’
