Data Security

Data security policy

At Prakya your data security is our top priority. And, we give utmost priority to make sure that all the information that we collect to provide you the service remains completely secure. We employ state of the art technology to maintain high standards of data security and ensure that your information is safe, communications are secure, and businesses are protected.

Our focus is to not only deliver dynamic solutions, but also keeps customers’ data safe and secure. The trust and security of customers is valued above all. And to validate this, we have developed a strict security policy that covers how your data is accessed, transferred, stored, and protected by Prakya.

Protecting your data

Prakya protects your data by saving it on reliable servers on AWS (“Amazon Web Services”) that make use of modern techniques. Your data is written to multiple disks and stored in multiple places to remove even the minutest point of failure, if any.

Maintaining Security

All passwords are filtered from all our logs and are one-way encrypted in the database using bcrypt. Login information is always sent over SSL.

100% secure transmission

To protect your data when it travels from your browser to our servers on AWS and vice versa, the connection is encrypted by default using SSL. This is the highest level of security offered, same as in banks, which leaves no room for any errors or insecure transmission.

Employee Access

No Prakya employee will ever see your customer data unless required to do so for support reasons. We would only access your customer data without your permission in the event of a rare, emergency service incident that is causing system-level outage.

  Data Storage

The data that is produced as part of using our service is stored on AWS in Aurora DB, and access is limited to machines that need read and write access to the data. We also do incremental, encrypted backups of the Aurora DB datastore several times a day to Amazon S3 which is designed to offer 99.999999999% durability for the data in the event of a problem or catastrophic failure of Aurora DB.

Credit Card Safety

When you sign up for a paid account on Prakya, your credit card information is handed off to Stripe, a company dedicated to storing your sensitive data on PCI-Compliant servers. Our servers do not store or even see your credit card information.
